Our teaching is designed to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils, providing opportunities to explore new ideas, ask questions and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
In Nursery and Reception, learning follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, combining purposeful play with carefully planned teaching experiences.
Across Key Stages 1 and 2, our curriculum is broadly based on the National Curriculum, enriched with additional learning opportunities that reflect the interests, abilities and needs of our pupils.
As children progress through the school, they benefit from increasingly specialist teaching, alongside the consistent guidance and pastoral support of their Form Teachers.

Assessment and Pupil Progress
Assessment is an important part of our approach to teaching and learning, helping teachers understand each child’s strengths, identify areas for development and plan appropriate next steps.
We use a combination of ongoing classroom assessment and standardised assessments to monitor progress, inform teaching and ensure pupils receive the support and challenge they need.
