VISITS AND WORKSHOPS

Educational visits are vital for a full appreciation of the curriculum, especially in English, history and the arts.  We regularly attend the Royal Academy of Arts primary school workshops and various activities organised by the National Gallery.  Children attend lectures on science at the Royal Institute and make visits to the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum to enrich the science curriculum.  The Tower of London, the Museum of London and the National Army Museum all have excellent activities for students that enliven the study of history.  Theatre visits are arranged for all classes and year 6 usually see an RSC production of the Shakespeare play they are studying. Annual visits to Kenwood are popular.
